We love pizza here at Glass Onion - our second recommendation is a little different to the above... Nell’s Pizza is a New York style pizzeria located in three spots, including the Northern Quarter. Grab a 14” pizza every weekday before 4pm for as little at £7.77 (the angles agree, you’re on the right path).

What’s cluckin’ good looking? Chicken, lots of fried chicken! Yard & Coop are Manchester's best fried chicken eatery. Here you can indulge in succulent fried chicken sandos and soda for as little as a tenner on a weekday between 12pm - 4pm.

Love tacos and bao buns? Manchester's Wolf At The Door is a must visit for you! Here you can get bites for as little as £1, including their Chippy Tea boa, which is essentially a chip butty in a boa bun. You do need to purchase a drink with any food - but you’ll easily spend less than a tenner here for some great flavours.

Home to Manchester’s Indian street food, with dishes from as little as £6. Grab a few friends and head to Chit and Chaat, get different dishes to share and try as much as you can. Their famous samosa, 'chaat', is an Indian classic that can’t be missed on the famous curry mile.
