Yes you read that right. Yesterday Kim Kardashian was photographed in Paris wearing a Balenciaga bodysuit featuring the brand's "tour dates" which is said to pay homage to the birthplaces and birthdays of the Balenciaga's team. At the very top of the list is "JAN 04 BARNSLEY, UNITED KINGDOM".
As a business that started and remains based in Barnsley, you can bet we're pretty obsessed that this has happened.
The collection Kim is photographed wearing is stylised to look like a band T-shirt, with a fake band called Speedhunters, created by Balenciaga for its Fall/Winter 2018 collection. The bodysuit is layered with a pair of all-in-one stiletto leggings and unbelievably we found an almost identical pair in one of our vintage bales the same day this picture emerged!
