For over 15 years, we’ve been passionate about what we do. We started out back in 2005 with our Founder, John, selling vintage clothing out of his Grandma’s coal shed.  Today, things look a little different - We have customers all over the world, we have a store in Nottingham and Sheffield, and we wholesale vintage clothing to the high street.

Our business is built on sustainability - saving tonnes of clothing from landfill and remanufacturing older clothing into something new - and our Vision and Values reflect that.

Job Title: Vintage Retail Store Manager 

Location: The North of England (We're growing! Opportunities in key northern cities)

Salary: TBC (dependent on experience) 

Your Mission: To be the conductor of an exciting, inspiring, and profitable Glass Onion store, making it the go-to destination for "the brand new second hand".

About The Role:

We’re on a mission to make sustainable fashion accessible and aspirational, and we're looking for passionate retail leaders to drive our expansion in the North. As a Glass Onion Store Manager, you are the heart of your store. This isn’t a back-office job; you’ll be leading from the shop floor, creating a fun and inspiring atmosphere, and making your store a vibrant hub for the local fashion community.

Your core purpose is to "deliver the numbers" by leading your team to provide the phenomenal service we’re famous for. You'll take ownership of everything from curating incredible visual displays to managing stock drops and coaching your team to be the best.

What Success Looks Like (The Numbers):

Success in this role is clear and data-driven. We'll measure your performance on your ability to deliver against key targets:

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals.

  • Maintain Gross Profit targets

  • Manage staff costs

  • Drive key metrics
