Sheffield Shop Assistant Manager
To support the store manager to create an inspiring, exciting, and profitable Glass Onion Store.
Accountabilities:Supporting the store manager to maximise sales through service, visual merchandising, and product.
Supporting the store manager in leading a team of Store Assistants, making sure the team represents the brand.
Leading the store and team in absence of the store manager.
Strong shop floor presence to support our store team.
To stay up to date with current trends with knowledge on our customer types.
To create an inspiring and exciting store for our customers.
Supporting with stock room operations by ensuring full awareness of stock levels and organisation.
Assisting with creating Glass Onion’s customer journey as we grow.
Overseeing the shop floor team’s levels of customer service by setting daily goals and expectations to create a positive store environment
Skills and Experience:Previous experience in a supervisor or management role is essential
Strong understanding of vintage and responsible fashion
Commercially aware to maximise sales
Creative and full of ideas
Full of energy and enthusiasm
Approachable and friendly
Is a leader
Highly organised with attention to detail
Excellent in all aspects of customer service

Role type: Full-time (includes weekends)
Hours: 37.5 hours a week
Start Date: From 14th November 2021
Pay: Up to £24,000 depending on experience

Event Preparation Assistant
Mission: To prepare Glass Onion Events on time and in full
Hang, tag and allocate stock to floorplans.
Assisting with washing event stock (where necessary).
Stock quality checking.
Hitting preparation deadlines.
Loading vans for events (including kit van).
Ensuring event kit container is well organised.
Keeping event preparation space clean, tidy and workable.
Liaising with the grading team where necessary to ensure all stock requests are fulfilled.
Feeding back progress of preparation to Head Of Events and events assistant.
Skills and attributes:
Organised and high attention to detail
Physically strong/used to manual labour

Knowledge of vintage product (desirable but not essential)

Able to drive a van/clean drivers license
