About Glass Onion

For over 15 years, we’ve been passionate about what we do. We started out back in 2006 with our Founder, John, selling vintage clothing out of his Grandma’s coal shed.  Today, things look a little different - From our Website we have customers all over the world, we have a small chain of stores and we wholesale vintage clothing to the high street.

Our business is built on sustainability - saving tonnes of clothing from landfill and remanufacturing older clothing into something new - and our Vision and Values reflect that.

Part-Time Sales Assistant (Leeds & Sheffield Stores)

We have two part-time roles available, one located at our Leeds store and one located at our Sheffield store (Division Street).

Accountabilities

Giving our customers a friendly and welcoming in-store service which reflects our brand.

Ensuring our customer experience is your main focus in everything you do

Become an expert on all things vintage – from products & sizing to our remade range and values.

General shop floor responsibilities – to include restocking & keeping the shop floor tidy and inspiring.

General stockroom duties - including processing delivery & keeping the stock room organised & tidy.

Supporting management with merchandising, creative displays, and store ideas.

Supporting marketing with social media content.

Involvement in our in-store events and promotion planning.

 

Who We're Looking For

Excellent in all aspects of customer service.

Experience in retail (fashion retail preferable).

Passionate, familiar and knowledgeable about vintage and responsible fashion.

Positive, full of energy, hard working & confident attitude.

Enjoys a fast-paced environment.

Enjoys working part of a team.

Understands our brand values.

Comfortable creating social media content. 

Understanding of visual merchandising (preferred).
